The following image shows Connie is daydreaming which is against the norms that she should be doing which is taking care of the household chores like cleaning and cooking, as indicated in the following passage “Why don’t you keep your room clean like your sister? How’ve you got your hair fixed—what the hell stinks? Hair spray? You don’t see your sister using that junk.” The above image displays the pre-conscious and conscious levels of the human mind because the preconscious tells her that she should be daydreaming, while the conscious levels make her daydream. As we look at Connie we can see the level of her satisfaction through her body posture, her eyes closed to give us a sense of relief. It’s almost as if we can lie in her shes by seeing the sense of satisfaction in her face.
